Healthy Fit SchoolDixie Magnet Elementary earned support for its physical education department and PTA’s healthy lifestyles committee through this fall’s 2nd Sunday events, including the 16th District PTA’s inaugural 5K. And as a follow-up to November’s national focus, the Dixie PTA will host a Healthy Family Lifestyles event on Dec. 1.

"A parade of nearly 100 service members opened the first-ever Veterans Day celebration at Dixie Magnet Elementary, where the gym bulged with patriotism and pride."

 

 

 

Congratulations to Visual Arts Specialist Rachel Losch! Mrs. Losch is a recipient of the 2012 Ashland Inc. Teacher Achievement Awards and was selected by the Kentucky Department of Education and Ashland Inc. She will compete along with 24 other educators for the 2012 Kentucky Teacher of the Year Award.

Volunteer

We encourage families to get involved in their children's education.  One way is through volunteering; before you can volunteer in any school, you must first fill out a volunteer application.
